The West End Community Center opened its doors in the West End in January, 2006.  The goal of the Community Center is to promote education, economy, recreation and most of all, community.

Activities in the West End Community Center are designed for all ages.  Children’s and youth programs include a Boy Scout troop, the EMANON Teen Center and after-school activities.  Families enjoy bargains at the WEM Thrift Store, attend Neighborhood Association meetings and participate in recreational activities.  Adults can improve their computer skills through Access@ Tech Center, can take GED classes, and can improve their reading and communication skills through the Reading Connections. 

Senior Adults enjoy a variety of activities at the Community Center including bingo, movies, munchies & more, day trips and even overnight excursions.
